Lambs tail catkin earrings.

 

Hazel trees in winter are ealily identifiable from their catkins full of yellow pollen. each one consists of 240 flowers. The catkins dance in the breeze leading to their nick name of lambs tails. These dainty earrings made of two parts replicate this gentle movement.

 

Originally exhibited at the  Awakening exhibition held at the National trust, Leith Hill Place, Surrey in 2019 

 

These earrings make a fabulous gift for any nature lover.

 

Handmade from a photograph transposed onto aluminium which is then sealed under the metal surface. This provides a pleasing and durable finish which with care will last a lifetime. All materials used are hypoallergenic.

 

These earrings have been very gently shaped. .

    These earrings are made using 0.7mm anodized aluminium making it much lighter than traditional jewellery.

     

    The earrings has been very gently shaped to give a realistic look.
