Agapanthus flower bud earrings

The agapanthus flower head is a magnificent sphere of blue but these earrings highlight the delicacy of the individual buds which combine to produce this stunning display.

Also known as the African lily this plant can be found in gardens and growing wild in the dunes of Tresco, Isles of Scilly.  It is so beloved of visitors to this garden island that they have become to many of them the symbol of the island.

Every flower is individually handmade by me in Hampshire, England so there will be slight variations in size, colour and shape making each piece unique, just as in nature.

The ear wires are sterling silver and the flower is made using recycled aluminium so that each earring is very light weight and hypoallergenic.
