Asymmetric Cherry leaf necklace

This asymmetric statement necklace depicts autumnal Cherry leaves from a tree that grows in our garden and always displays glorious autumn colours of golden yellows, pinks through to reds.

Originally designed for the National Trust Fading Light exhibition at Leith Hill Place Surrey. The inspiration for the necklace was to show autumn leaves blowing in the wind as they fall from the tree before winter. 

We are excited to have been invited to showcase an example of this necklace at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park as part of their MADE exhibition 2020/21

Every leaf is individually handmade by me in Hampshire, England so there will be slight variations in size, colour and shape making each piece unique, just as in nature.

Materials used
The chain is sterling silver (18"/45cm) and the leaves are made using recycled aluminium so the whole necklace is very light weight and hypoallergenic.
